Is a Sensitive Body a curse?

Let’s take a moment to talk about our Sensitive Bodies.

For those of us who are highly sensitive, we can have a much harder time with our bodies than non-Sensitive Souls. Our bodies are turned-up to the max with sensory overloads of all kinds and this can cause mayhem for our systems.

It can be truly exhausting as a Sensitive Soul trying to balance all the extra simulation and internal stimulation on a daily basis.

Emotional Vampires Explained

Hello lovely,
I wanted to take a moment to talk about something very close to my heart: Energy vampires.

Have you heard the term before? It’s basically someone who ‘takes’ energy from you and leaves you feeling drained, confused, lost and wondering why.

All of us will have at some point encountered people like this, let’s face it there’s a lot of them around! But in my experience it can be so unbelievably challenging to side-step or handle these kinds of interactions. I’ve often felt either responsible for them and their emotional wellbeing or utterly victimised by them.

So who is an emotional vampire?

For those of us who are Sensitive Souls, we are deeply moved by situations and experiences of people around us. Sometimes positively and sometimes negatively.

Today I received news that someone’s child that I don’t personally know but I do follow on Instagram died yesterday.

Of course this is a topic for me that is close to my heart, I feel immense sadness for them and can’t help but shed a few tears at the thought of what they must be going through at the moment. One minute their child is there, and the next minute they are not.
