This time of year always feels a bit harder to stay motivated and energized – in the past I would have easily reached for mounds of mince pies, lots of creamy puddings and maybe a chocolate bar or 3.
The result? I gained weight. I certainly didn’t feel better, I just felt even more sluggish, groggy and tired. I would get at least 3 or 4 colds over the winter and I just felt absolutely rubbish.
